The Culver-Stockton College IMA Student Chapter (IMASC) was established in 1996 and is a student organization for those interested in the field of business, accounting and finance. The IMASC is formally chartered through the global Institute of Management Accountants, the premier association for accountants and financial professionals in business.
The purpose of the IMA Student Chapter is to promote opportunities for professional development including connecting with peers, networking with professionals in the field, learning about the CMA certification exam, and pursuing service learning.
The C-SC IMA Student Chapter has been recognized by the global IMA with the Award of Excellence over twenty times in the past. In the following years, the C-SC Chapter was recognized as an Outstanding Student Chapter, which recognizes the top five chapters in the country: 1999, 2002, 2004, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2020.
