Message from the President

Hello, my name is Madelyn Haley and I am the IMA Student Chapter President. I have previously served IMA as a Student Ambassador and Vice President of Social Media.

Through IMA, I have gained leadership skills and experience, met both local and national business professionals, toured companies virtually and in-person, all while learning about careers in accounting and finance. Alongside my peers, we have been able to develop professional skills while volunteering for numerous events and businesses such as professional clothing drives, humane societies, and Christmas drives.

In November 2020, I was able to attend the Virtual IMA Student Leadership Conference where I was able to speak with fellow IMA members from around the world about my IMA experience. It was especially beneficial to speak with fellow members who also had COVID-19 as a challenge.

IMA grants students and professionals an education and experience unlike any other. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities that IMA has presented me and the skills that I will take into my future career.
